Perfume Course In France

How to deal with parents regarding borrowing and spending money?
Six months ago, I bought an apartment. In my country (I don’t live in USA) it’s quite a step, so I had to take a loan and a mortgage at the bank, but my mother and grandmother offered to lend me the money for the down payment and they didn’t want the money back, they said it was the gift. The problem is, my mother and grandmother had always been making comments on how should I spend my money – I spend a lot of money on CDs, DVDs and books, I always did and I always will. I’m 37 years old, had steady, full-time job and I feel that there is no need for me to justify how I spend my own money. I’ve been listening about my CDs and DVDs for more than 20 years now, yet I I never once ask my mother why did she spend $60 on perfume. If it makes her happy, why not.
It all happened again this time. In a week, I’m traveling to France (of course, with my own, saved money) and there were comments again. Why do parents do that? Was it wrong that I took their money? Can’t they just be happy for me?
If u didn’t want there questions, then you should have simply borrowed the money….maybe u should borrow the money and pay them back so therefore, they can’t say anything to u
