Nothing is worse than sitting by someone, in a confined space who is wearing too much perfume. A perfect example of too much of a good thing. Your own bodies oils mix with the scent, and create the smell. That is why the same perfume can smell different on different people. If you think your scent is fading too soon, you can layer the scent, by using a bath scrub, lotion and perfume all in the same scent. Just don’t use too much. As you use perfume you become desensitized to it’s strength so ask, a parent or an honest friend if it smells too strong. You can also spray a mist into the air and walk quickly through it. Be aware that many perfumes have ingredients that can stain or leave “water marks” on some fabrics.
You want your perfume to linger, not take over.
