Making Perfume Without Alcohol

Can I use my alcohol based perfume to make scented oil?
I really don’t want to buy essential oil when I have so many bottles of eau de parfum to use. Or will it ruin my oils? I’m mixing a concoction of coconut oil, olive oil, and mineral oil (to make it last longer I think). I’ve also infused this oil mix with fresh gardenia petals but it really needs something extra as it smells a little too sweet and without depth.
As smokey already stated, once the alcohol evaporates, so does the scent. Scientifically speaking, the the alcohol, like water; will not actually mix with the oil, even if its shaken up and spread out, the alcohol will move to the surface and evaporate very quickly.
I have; in the past gathered orange/lemon peels or other herbs in jars and mixed with “scentless” baby oil. Let it soak for a week or so, and the oil that is used or exposed to the air, seems to retain the scent really well.
hope this helps.
