Book Perfume
Film of the book Perfume by Patrick Suskind?
A little back story for you….I met an amazing girl on Friday who is German and an aspiring author. We spoke about German literature and she mentioned that a book she loves ‘perfume by Patrick Suskind’ has been made into a film but she has not seen it yet. We agreed that if we can find where it is on we will go and see it together. A bit of internet research and I discovered it the film has been directed by Tom Tykwer.
I really need to find a cinema that is showing this or a place I can buy the DVD. Preferably in the London are – although we can travel.
Please help a hopeless romantic……
It is in production now — Tykwer directed, and it stars Alan Rickman and Dustin Hoffman. The currently scheduled release date, at least in the United States, is December 27, 2006.
So wait a couple of months. In the meantime read the book.
