blue grass perfume elizabeth arden
What are some luxurious perfumes that a 20 year old can use?

Im 20 years old and I just got into perfumes that been around for decades. Im looking for perfumes that came out way in early 1920s-1960s maybe 1970′s also and still would be appropriate for a 20 year old. Perfumes that are rich and light but not heavy. Something for daytime, college. Thanks…i searched some up….i would appreciate some feedback on them too..

Blue Grass by Elizabeth Arden
Passion By Elizabeth Arden
Tabu by dana
Je reviens by worth
L’Air du Temps by nina ricci
Anais anais by Cacharel

oh and i also want to know what you guys think about Issey Miyake perfume…

thank you :)

Rive Gauche by YSL is a rich green airy not to sweet scent.
L’eau Arpege by Arpege is along the same lines.
Blue grass is something like those, with a little lemon blossom thrown in to lighten it up even more.
Anais anais is a rich heavy floral with a musk and magnolia base.
Tabu is a very heavy spicy oriental – I’ve worn it, but coco by chanel is a much better evolution of that catagory of perfume.
Je reviens has an almost smoky scent to it – a very heavy deep woods scent that dries to a powdery finnish – think baby powder and cigar box and you’ll be in the ball park.
Passion – well, its a nondescript spicy scent – pretty generic.
L’air du temp is a sharp powder scent as well.

Chanel 19 and 22 are light florals that are sophisticated and not too much like fabric softnener. (many older floral perfumes have that tendency)

By todays standards most older perfumes are pretty “simple”
