What do you think of this, “Jinn” stories from Pakistan?

“Jinn” is an urdu word for ghost or evil spirit. Pakistan/India are like the land of the spirits, so many things happen there. My grandmother grew up there and she said that a jinn can fall in love with a human being and practically ruin their life. Three things you must follow though are (for girls) Never wear perfume, wear your hair out or sing at night, especially around trees. Because jinn’s tend to retreat to places at night away from people. So many of them live up high in trees or in abandoned buildings. One night, a young girl my grandmother knew was walking home and singing to herself. A jinn living in a tree fell in love with her voice and his spirit followed her, demanding she love him back. When she refused, he killed her family and drove her insane, literally. She is now an old woman and lives in a mental hospital in Pakistan.she talks to the walls, or supposidly to the same Jinn, who haunted her entire life. She now consideres the jinn her husband.
